Tours and Tastings Reopen at Tayport

Tayport Distillery re-opens for distillery tours and tastings on the 21st of May 2021! We are so excited to be opening our doors again and bringing people into our world of distilling. After launching our tours during the pandemic last year, we were so humbled to receive such great feedback from participants!

As the country begins to ease out of lockdown, we have decided to open for only two days a week, keeping our numbers limited to 4 people from two households.This is to ensure everyone can enjoy their experience and feel safe. We have an ESOL on-site ‘fogger’ bringing extra protection into the distillery by cleaning the air of viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces. 

Over the course of the next few months, we will be putting up more signage and further developing our experiences for you to enjoy throughout the summer. 

It has been the most mind boggling year for everyone, and when you visit our distillery we want you to have the best experience possible - it is important for us to give you a little insight into our lives as we continue to grow and develop the Tayport Distillery brand. 

Our distillery tours and tastings introduce you to what real craft distilling looks like - everything is created in small batches but to a high standard. The smell of grain lingers in the distillery after a long day of mashing, fresh fruit can be seen macerating to create our spirits and there are four different types of stills, showing you how we got started!
